How DealMapped Tracks Open-Box Deals
DealMapped is built as a tracking system rather than a static list of products. The useful information is not only that a discounted listing exists, but whether it is still showing up, how large the markdown is, and how recently the offer was observed.
Refresh cadence
The live feed refreshes every 30 minutes. Each observation updates the listing’s last-seen timestamp, which is why cards can show how recently a deal was observed rather than presenting an undated recommendation.
What enters the feed
The site focuses on marketplace offers discounted at least 30% from the reference price supplied with the listing. We retain product identifiers, title, condition-related listing data when available, price, discount, category and observation timestamps.
What leaves the active feed
Listings that have not been observed for 21 days are removed from the active feed. That does not guarantee any individual item remains available between refreshes, so the merchant page remains the source of truth at checkout.
Track the next deal instead of chasing this one
Search the live DealMapped feed, then save the search if you want an email when new matching inventory appears.
